Plant Manager | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $139,000 - $190,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and optimize daily plant operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage plant budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a high-performance and engaged culture.
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) across all manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain product quality standards and oversee quality control processes.
  • Oversee maintenance and reliability programs for all plant machinery and infrastructure.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including P&L responsibility.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with multi-site or global manufacturing operations
  • Proven success in leading significant automation or digital transformation projects
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Engineering Management)
