Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality data accurately.
• Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for quality defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
• Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certification (e.g., CQT, CQIA)
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) for SPC charting and data interpretation.
• Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Yellow Belt).
• Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
