Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment according to production specifications.
• Install and change tooling, dies, molds, or fixtures for various production runs.
• Perform precise calibrations and fine-tune machine parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct initial test runs and quality checks to verify setup accuracy and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or programming issues during setup.
• Maintain accurate records of setup times, configurations, and any encountered issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during setup operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and various hand/power tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards (e.g., GMP, ISO).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., SMED, 5S).
• Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-code, M-code) or PLC logic.
• Familiarity with common quality inspection tools and metrology (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated experience with preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting.
