Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies to optimize material acquisition.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers while managing existing vendor relationships and performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize inventory discrepancies.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant industry regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory control.
• Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost data for strategic sourcing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management.
• Demonstrated experience in ERP/MRP system implementation or optimization.
