Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance to ensure timely and quality material delivery.
• Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, price volatility, and quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes, systems, and supplier quality standards.
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering professional development and high performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory control principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
• Experience with advanced ERP/MRP system implementation or optimization
• Proven track record in international sourcing and global supply chain management
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization
