Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and blueprints.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and 3D CAD data.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final product measurements.
• Analyze measurement data, identify non-conformances, and generate detailed inspection reports.
• Troubleshoot CMM programs, fixtures, and machine operational issues.
• Calibrate CMM probes and ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and CAD models.
• Solid knowledge of metrology fundamentals and measurement techniques.
• Experience with manufacturing processes relevant to part inspection.
• Troubleshooting skills for CMM programs and measurement discrepancies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX).
• GD&T Certification (e.g., ASQ GDTP).
• Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners, optical comparators).
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and applications.
