Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform detailed variance analysis for production costs and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate valuation of inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
• Prepare comprehensive cost reports and analyses for management decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Identify and analyze cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Support month-end close activities related to cost of goods sold and inventory.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of dedicated cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methodologies.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SAP CO module or similar manufacturing ERP costing functionalities.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification or experience.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
