Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable for manufacturing operations.
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage payroll processing for all employees, including production staff.
• Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries accurately.
• Assist with inventory valuation and cost of goods sold tracking.
• Generate basic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Track and reconcile fixed assets, including manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, inventory valuation, cost accounting principles, and COGS.
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and support month-end/year-end close processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with inventory accounting and tracking
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Experience with fixed asset management for machinery and equipment
