Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, SCADA).
• Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and motion control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in existing automation equipment and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement process improvements and optimizations through automation technologies.
• Integrate new automation hardware and software into existing manufacturing lines and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics and control narratives.
• Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) for manufacturing automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex automated systems and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of process control theory and implementation, including PID tuning and sensor integration.
• Familiarity with vision systems and other advanced sensor technologies for quality control and guidance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality inspection or guidance.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools or MES/SCADA integration for OEE and process optimization.
• Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., Arena, Plant Simulation) for process design and validation.
• Working knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles for control systems.
