Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, proper authorization, and compliance with manufacturing purchase orders.
• Manage accounts payable aging, prepare weekly payment runs, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices for manufactured goods and services, verifying pricing and terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, initiate collection communications, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Accurately apply customer cash receipts to open invoices and reconcile daily cash transactions.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to AP/AR, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for all AP/AR transactions, ensuring audit readiness.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounts, accru accruals, and account reconciliation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately process invoices, apply cash, and manage vendor and customer accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear communication abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
• Experience with automated invoice processing or AP/AR workflow solutions.
• Understanding of inventory management and its impact on financial records.
