Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, assigning tasks and managing workflow.
  • Ensure all fabrication projects are completed on schedule and meet quality specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies.
  • Promote and enforce adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the fabrication area.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior fabricators, fostering skill development.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in metal fabrication, with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Expertise in various fabrication processes, including welding (MIG, TIG), cutting, and forming.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and manage a fabrication team.
  • Strong commitment to quality control, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production tracking and scheduling.
