Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex calibrations on manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Document calibration results, generate certificates, and maintain accurate calibration records.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning measurement and test equipment.
• Develop and optimize calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage and maintain calibration standards and reference equipment.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal quality standards and external regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA).
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule and minimize downtime during calibration.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent military training/certifications.
• 2+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a precision measurement environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of fundamental measurement principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and various test equipment.
• Proficiency in meticulous data recording, maintaining calibration records, and generating accurate reports.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with measurement equipment and processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated calibration systems (e.g., LabVIEW, MET/CAL).
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty principles (GUM).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or similar professional certification.
• Proficiency with CMMS or calibration management software.
