Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical failures in production machinery and infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise and support to maintenance teams for electrical system repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and industry regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Optimize existing electrical systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and reduced downtime.
• Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for plant equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development for industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layout.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems, machinery, and control circuits.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and machine safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA/MES systems and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
