Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of finishing department personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production schedules to achieve output targets and on-time delivery.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the finishing area.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing operators to enhance skill sets and productivity.
• Oversee the setup, operation, and basic maintenance of finishing equipment.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, coating, final assembly) and associated equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet quality and output goals.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, defect analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with advanced manufacturing execution systems (MES) or ERP software
• Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with automated finishing equipment or robotics
