Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and production environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime on manufacturing systems and production lines.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, shop floor devices, and specialized manufacturing software.
  • Log all support requests and resolutions accurately in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors in a timely manner.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues impacting manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance on IT assets within the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues for hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with common IT equipment used in manufacturing environments (e.g., barcode scanners, industrial printers, shop floor terminals).
  • Experience utilizing IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or common ERP platforms used in production environments.
  • Basic understanding of Operational Technology (OT) and industrial networking concepts.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing plant or production floor setting.
  • Familiarity with supporting ruggedized devices, barcode scanners, or specialized industrial printers.
