Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage, ensuring high availability for manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for shop floor systems, industrial PCs, and production-related software (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLC connectivity).
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect IT and operational technology (OT) environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans for all critical manufacturing data and systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and apply patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal and secure operation of IT assets.
• Collaborate with production teams and external vendors to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various IT systems, adhering to security policies and compliance requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
• Demonstrated experience managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls).
• Experience providing IT support for manufacturing floor systems, including industrial PCs, SCADA/PLC integration, and ERP/MES system support.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, data backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues, with experience in PowerShell scripting for automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Infor).
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, or edge computing in a production setting.
• Experience supporting SCADA or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) applications.
• Understanding of IT compliance standards relevant to manufacturing (e.g., ISO, GxP, FDA).
