Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, programming, and operation of complex CNC machinery for precision manufacturing.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior machinists.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections and troubleshoot production issues to ensure part specifications are met.
• Optimize machining processes, tooling, and fixtures to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Coordinate daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and implement improvements.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in precision CNC machining (milling, turning) and conventional machining.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, CAM software) and strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, including training and mentoring junior machinists.
• Expertise in material properties, tooling selection, fixture design, and process optimization for manufacturing efficiency.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures, metrology tools, and commitment to maintaining high precision standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Experience with advanced materials and exotic alloys.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability in fixture design and fabrication.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
