Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI).
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and validate new production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead and execute pilot production runs, process validation, and first article inspections.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, BOMs, and process flowcharts.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing yields and quality metrics during the NPI phase.
• Provide technical leadership and training to production personnel on new processes and products.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proficiency in developing, optimizing, and documenting manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) for fixture design, tooling, and product review.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through product launch cycles.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or additive manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in PLM/ERP systems for product data management and workflow automation.
