Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient management of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems for all tooling assets, including tracking usage, calibration, and repair status.
• Schedule and manage the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of tooling to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure the proper storage, organization, and accessibility of all tooling within the tool room.
• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to identify tooling needs, troubleshoot issues, and support new product introductions.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the tool room.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for tooling to extend lifespan and reduce unexpected failures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management.
• Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and control systems.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
