Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, operational procedures, quality standards, and new equipment.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analyses, and discussions with department supervisors.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, hands-on exercises, and e-learning modules.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Track and report on training completion, effectiveness, and impact on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety incidents, production efficiency, and quality defects.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Evaluate and select external training providers or resources as needed.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging training technologies to continuously improve training programs.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Ability to assess training needs, measure effectiveness, and adapt programs accordingly.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting training progress.
  • - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training development.
  • - Certification in adult learning or instructional design.
  • - Experience in change management initiatives related to new processes or technologies.
