Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to schedules.
• Manage and develop a team of shop floor personnel, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and motivation.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics.
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the manufacturing process, addressing any deviations.
• Maintain and optimize shop floor equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Manage budgets and control operational expenses for the shop floor.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing shop floor environment.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards in manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software
• - Strong understanding of quality control procedures and ISO standards
• - Proven ability to implement and optimize production schedules
