Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and workflow to ensure efficient production.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shop floor employees, fostering a productive team environment.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines.
• Inspect work in progress and finished goods to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Collaborate with management on production planning, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide a workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges effectively.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with quality control procedures and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• - Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing and understanding technical drawings
• - Experience with quality control systems and statistical process control (SPC)
