Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet output targets and deadlines.
• Lead, train, and mentor production team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure strict adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels and material flow, coordinating with supply chain as needed.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and support preventative maintenance activities.
• Report on production performance metrics, including output, scrap, and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (2-4 years) in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment operation, and quality control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and train a production team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks.
• Solid commitment to safety protocols, 5S principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with an ERP/MES system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
