Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, including acceptance/rejection status and identified non-conformances.
• Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Initiate and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected materials or products.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all manufactured products meet established quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Solid understanding of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills for identifying defects and non-conformities.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain quality records.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality inspection or assurance role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation or programming
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Basic statistical process control (SPC) knowledge
• Ability to interpret and work with CAD models/drawings
