Salary Range: $83,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and track their effectiveness.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including control plans and PPAPs.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
• Qualify new suppliers and assess their manufacturing capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective action processes (e.g., CAPA, 8D).
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and materials relevant to the industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• - Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, PCB assembly).
• - Experience with supplier development and auditing programs.
