Salary Range: $78,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, such as First Article Inspections (FAI) and control plans.
• Qualify new suppliers and parts, ensuring they meet established quality requirements.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure supplier readiness and quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, including supplier audits, corrective action plans, and incoming inspection.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa diagrams) and problem-solving methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for effective supplier collaboration.
• Experience with quality tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP, ERP systems).

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and analysis
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• - Knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• - Experience with root cause analysis tools like 8D, Fishbone, or 5 Whys
