Salary Range: $61,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, adhering to established deadlines.
• Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
• Maintain fixed asset records and prepare related depreciation schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with inventory valuation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with inventory valuation and control.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• - Professional certification such as CPA or CMA
• - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their impact on inventory accounting
• - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
• - Familiarity with Cost Accounting principles and standard costing methodologies
