Salary Range: $76,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including First Article Inspections (FAIs) and control plans.
• Manage incoming inspection processes and material review boards (MRBs) for non-conforming materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure supplier readiness and quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa diagrams).

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• - Certification in ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar.
• - Experience with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) development and implementation.
• - Knowledge of ISO 9001 or industry-specific quality management systems.
