Salary Range: $54,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze Request for Quotes (RFQs) to understand customer specifications and project requirements.
• Calculate accurate costs for materials, labor, tooling, and overhead using established methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to validate technical specifications and material availability.
• Develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies based on cost analysis, market conditions, and company objectives.
• Prepare and submit professional, detailed, and timely quotations to customers.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, cost models, and quoting templates.
• Track quote status, follow up with customers, and support the sales team in converting quotes to orders.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quoting, sales support, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel for cost modeling and pricing.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost estimation and margin analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and and external stakeholder interaction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD viewing software (e.g., SolidWorks Viewer, AutoCAD LT).
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VBA).
• Experience with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, molding).
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics or material sourcing.
