Salary Range: $41,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations according to specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Document welding processes, materials used, and inspection results.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve welding issues.
- Operate and maintain other manufacturing equipment as needed.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary welding certification or degree preferred.
- Proven experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties relevant to welding.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with NDT methods like Dye Penetrant or Ultrasonic testing.
- - Certification in specific welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Flux-Cored) beyond basic qualification.
- - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- - Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and weld symbols.
