This team plays a critical role in inspecting forged and machined components that support industries like aerospace and medical devices. With a fleet of over 30 CMMs and a mix of Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, and CMM Manager systems, your programming expertise will help shape inspection strategies across multiple workflowsfrom tooling validation to final part release.
What Youll Do:

Write, validate, and optimize complex CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, or CMM Manager

Lead first-article, in-process, and final inspection strategies for forged and precision-machined parts

Interpret advanced GD&T, including theoretical features, non-standard datums, and tight-tolerance callouts

Collaborate with quality, CNC, and engineering teams to resolve inspection issues and ensure alignment across departments

Train and mentor operators and junior programmers in inspection best practices

Support metrology process improvement, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts
What Youll Need:

4+ years of experience in CMM programming with a focus on complex or regulated parts

Strong proficiency in at least one metrology software (Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, or CMM Manager)

Deep understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection plan development

Experience working in a high-volume or high-complexity manufacturing setting

Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and support knowledge transfer
Whats Preferred:

Multi-platform programming experience or willingness to cross-train

Background in aerospace, medical device, or forged component inspection

Familiarity with die and tooling inspection techniques

Experience supporting audits, PPAPs, or FAI documentation
