Appliance Repair Technician Weekly Travel, Hands-On Field Role

Each week starts with a Monday flight out, hands-on work through midweek, and a Thursday return home with most Fridays off. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Travel to industrial facilities nationwide to service and maintain automation equipment

  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components

  • Troubleshoot systems involving motors, wiring, sensors, and pneumatic parts

  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues

  • Document site visits and communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams

  • Occasionally support remote troubleshooting as part of an optional on-call rotation

  • Join larger team installations for new system rollouts (occasional Fridays)

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills fixing, testing, and problem-solving

  • Comfort working with basic electrical systems and diagnostic tools (like multimeters)

  • Ability to manage your time independently while traveling

  • Solid communication skills in customer-facing settings

  • Willingness to travel every week and adapt to different environments

  • Basic computer familiarity (email, spreadsheets, reporting tools)

Preferred Experience (But Not Required):

  • Appliance repair, HVAC, or residential electrical experience

  • Background in automotive repair, field service, or skilled trades

  • Exposure to PLCs, barcode scanners, or automation equipment

  • Military or technical school training

  • Valid drivers license and passport eligibility
