Accounting and Recruitment Specialist

We are actively seeking an Accounting Specialist with Recruitment Focus, a critical team member who will expertly manage our core accounting functions while also dedicating significant time to our recruitment efforts. You'll be a central figure in ensuring our financial accuracy and in bringing top-tier talent into our close-knit company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process all daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reports.

* Execute month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

* Assist with financial reporting and preparing documents for external accountants.

* Act as the primary point of contact for recruitment scheduling and candidate follow-up.

* Conduct initial candidate screenings and support interview coordination.

* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and streamline the hiring process.

* Manage the initial phases of employee onboarding and new hire paperwork.

* Maintain accurate and confidential financial and recruitment databases.

Recommended Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (strongly preferred).

* 3+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.

* Proficiency in modern accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

* Demonstrable experience with general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.

* Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

* A proactive and independent work ethic, with a desire to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Direct experience with recruitment coordination or HR support.

* Experience in a dynamic small to mid-sized business environment.

* Familiarity with payroll processing and related tax regulations.

* Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
