Value Stream Manager | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $103,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Value Stream Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize the end-to-end value stream from raw materials to customer delivery.
• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Identify and eliminate waste within the value stream using Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Develop and implement future state value stream maps to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the value stream.
• Manage and prioritize improvement projects within the value stream, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with functional managers to allocate resources and support value stream objectives.
• Drive standardization of processes and best practices across the value stream.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with Lean manufacturing principles and value stream mapping methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
