Value Stream Manager | Cadillac, MI

Salary Range: $105,000 - $152,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize the end-to-end value stream, from raw material to customer delivery.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and tools to identify and eliminate waste within the value stream.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to improve key performance indicators such as lead time, quality, and cost.
  • Facilitate regular value stream mapping sessions to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the value stream.
  • Mentor and coach team members on Lean methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role focused on process improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work).
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve measurable improvements in key performance indicators (e.g., lead time, quality, cost).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with AI-powered process optimization tools
  • Familiarity with advanced data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach Lean principles across an organization
