Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Rapids that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse personnel, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all warehouse activities.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to optimize material flow and meet production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Analyze warehouse performance data and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team of warehouse personnel
• Certification in APICS CSCP or CPIM preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).
• Experience with a WMS implementation or upgrade.
