Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Traverse City seeking Supply Chain Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation, performance, and contract management.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting processes to align with production schedules.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for supply chain functions
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to supply chain optimization
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Familiarity with ERP implementation or optimization projects
