Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate material availability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management, logistics, or distribution within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of warehouse personnel.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices for warehouse safety.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) beyond basic functionality.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage safety programs.
