Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install, program, and test new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and improve manufacturing processes.
• Repair or replace defective components in robotic work cells.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and system configurations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for robotic systems, PLCs, and associated automation.
• Experience with robot programming and teach pendant operation.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on robotic equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
• Familiarity with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for troubleshooting and integration
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, C++) for scripting and data analysis
• Certification in robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB)
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their safety considerations
