Tool Room Supervisor | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Manage tool inventory, including procurement, storage, and issuance.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and calibration of tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for tooling.
• Train and mentor tool room technicians on safety procedures and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production to ensure timely availability of tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing tool room environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong proficiency in CNC machining, manual machining, grinding, and EDM processes.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Demonstrated experience with tool and die repair, maintenance, and fabrication.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming and design.
