Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Interprets blueprints and engineering drawings to plan machining operations.
• Fabricates, modifies, and repairs complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Operates a variety of precision machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• Performs intricate bench work, including fitting, filing, and polishing.
• Conducts quality control checks on finished tools using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to tool performance and design.
• Collaborates with design engineers and production teams to optimize tool functionality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Completion of a certified Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship program.
• 5+ years of experience in precision machining, including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles and application.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and program CNC machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and efficiency.
