Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Hart region seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts as needed.
• Post cash receipts and apply payments to customer accounts accurately.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records for audit purposes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP system like SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry's specific invoicing and payment terms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with a purchase order system.
• Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., AAP) or Accounts Receivable (e.g., CAR).
