Maintenance Technician | Allendale, MI

Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Install, commission, and relocate new manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor controls.
• Proficiency in PLC diagnostics and programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills (e.g., MIG, TIG).
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
