Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and production methods.
• Conduct process analysis, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process changes.
• Monitor key process performance indicators and implement corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.
• Proficiency with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis.
• Experience with P&ID development, mass & energy balances, and process simulation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) or MES systems
• Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP)
