Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Analyze production data, using statistical methods to monitor and improve product quality and process capability.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into new products and processes.
  • Manage non-conforming materials and coordinate disposition and rework activities.
  • Support supplier quality management by performing audits and monitoring performance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven proficiency with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and auditing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
  • Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
