Quality Supervisor | Allendale, MI

Salary Range: $63,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality inspection teams on procedures, standards, and equipment.
• Oversee all product inspection, testing, and sampling activities to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update quality documentation, records, and the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or relevant ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with specific manufacturing processes relevant to the product line
• Project management experience in quality improvement or new product introduction
