Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.

• Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical purchasing practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a purchasing team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and market intelligence.
• Experience with international sourcing and managing global supply chains.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to global supplier markets.
