Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
• Conduct various quality tests, including dimensional, functional, and visual checks, using precision measuring instruments.
• Document inspection and test results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality records and reports.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and measuring devices.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to established quality procedures, standards, and customer requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification
• Experience utilizing Minitab or other statistical analysis software
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
• Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing engineering designs
• Basic machining or tooling experience
