Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate, verify, and maintain a wide range of metrology equipment and instruments.
- Perform precise dimensional measurements of manufactured parts and assemblies using CMMs, optical comparators, and hand tools.
- Document measurement data, calibration records, and non-conformances accurately.
- Analyze measurement results and generate detailed reports for quality control and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy, equipment functionality, and part conformity.
- Develop and implement measurement strategies and programs for new and existing products.
- Ensure all metrology activities comply with industry standards, internal procedures, and quality management systems.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated expertise in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and/or vision systems.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Understanding of calibration principles, gage control, and traceability standards (e.g., ISO 17025).
- Ability to analyze measurement data, identify trends, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CMM programming languages (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software and data analysis (e.g., Minitab)
- Certification in advanced GD&T application or interpretation (e.g., ASME GDTP)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
