Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and procurement of raw materials and components to support production requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Lead and mentor the materials team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Analyze material usage, forecasts, and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales departments to ensure alignment of material flow with manufacturing schedules.
• Implement and maintain robust material management systems and processes for data accuracy and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory planning, purchasing, and production scheduling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a proven ability to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, and supplier relationship management.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization.
• Experience managing global supply chains and international logistics.
• Demonstrated success in implementing new ERP/MRP systems or significant system upgrades.
